Stan Heimowitz
founder
Stan Heimowitz founded Celebrity Gems in 1987. A former social worker, Stan interviews and screens all entertainers before hiring them. He is often onsite to assure a quality performance at any given venue.

Stan received his BA in Political Science with a minor in English from the University of Georgia. He obtained his Masters of Social Work from Wayne State University in Michigan. He was also a First Lieutenant in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. Stan has two grown children who love comedians, bands and bird acts.


 

Barbara Heimowitz
Party Planner

Barbara Heimowitz specializes in party planning for private parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and weddings. Her role is to help the client relax on the day of their event by handling all the details. Working with theme events and coordinating centerpieces, party favors, gift baskets and other decorations are her specialty. She also offers a memory album created at the event. On site digital pictures are taken, printed and then placed in album pages customized by your guests.

Voted 1st place twice, for Best Party Planner in the San Francisco j.: the Jewish news weekly, 2005-06 and again in 2006-07!
